GENERAL INFORMATION

LIBRARY

The library functions as a separate unit. It has been working since the establishment of the faculty and is at the moment one of the most successful university libraries in the country. The library works according to the international library standards.

Function

The library is in charge of material procurement (books, magazines); material processing according to international library standards and provides fast and easy access to information for its users.

Library Fund

The library collection comprises of scientific literature in the field of architecture, urbanism and related disciplines. According to the fund size the library is one of the best equipped university libraries in the country. The book fund is constantly increasing, at this moment the library has 10.000 books and 6.000 magazines available.

These resources include collection of doctoral dissertations, master thesis, dictionaries, handbooks, materials from scientific meetings and conferences etc.

The library resources are available to its users through library catalogs.

Users

Library services are available to all students, post graduate students, doctoral students, professors of both Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering Faculty as well as the rest of the employees.

Number of borrowed publications and usage time are limited.

Working hours/other facilities

Library working hours: 10:00-13:00 every working day.

Besides the main office, the library includes a reading room and a storage space.

Special services

The library has established an active cooperation with the National library “St. Klement of Ohrid” and is provided with an access to domestic and foreign databases.
