COMPUTER CENTER

The computer center at the Faculty of Architecture was established in 1991 and is consistently implementing new IT technologies.

Faculty computer network has been hosted by four servers that are under permanent upgrade with different software and hardware solutions.

The extension of computer network is the wireless network primarily intended for the faculty students.

Since 2011, the computer center employs LINUX operation platform and is constantly expanding the server machine group in order to keep up with faculty development.

The server equipment consists of: Domain server, Web server, Firewall server, E-mail server and Terminal server. Server software works on Windows platform in a small proportion and the rest on LINUX OS. Free software is also available at our portal. Authorized and registered users have the following access: http:/download.arh.ukim.edu.mk

The wireless network operates from four locations and is available to students, professors and faculty employees. Network password: Student99

User profile is permanently controlled and all unauthorized connections shall be terminated.

Hacking and altering the network settings by unauthorized persons will be sanctioned with legal actions.
