CENTRES OF URBAN COMMUNITIES

Urban centres in general, and especially centres of urban communities have become a neglected part of recent urban practice and professional discourse. The ones interested in this topic are expected to research into the functional and spatial aspects of centres of existing and newly planned urban communities, their interconnectedness with the surrounding area and areas of similar nature. Candidates are expected to analyse a concrete locationin a town in Macedonia of their own choice and theoretically underpin a proposed interventionrepresented through an urban design and architectural project.
